Safe Routes to Schools

By walking or bicycling to school, children can easily incorporate exercise into their day, but the percent of children walking or riding bicycles to school has dropped dramatically over the past four decades. A Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program can help make neighborhoods safer and more appealing for walking and biking to school, getting kids active and teaching them long-term healthy habits.
