The ideas for NPLAN’s model policies come from a number of sources. The project is advised by a
diverse group of experts from academia, government, and advocacy who identify emerging policy ideas from their respective fields. We also receive ideas directly from researchers through our connections with
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation research programs, including
Active Living Research,
Healthy Eating Research, and
Bridging the Gap. Finally, we gather ideas from community-based advocates, conferences, and the media.
We would love to hear your ideas for possible future NPLAN products. Send your ideas to NPLAN using the
Ask NPLAN form.
