What are the Learning Communities?
Each of NPLAN’s three learning communities consists of leaders from the advocacy, scientific, policy and legal communities. Each learning community is assigned to one of three broad policy areas:
All of the members of a learning community have expertise in some aspect of the issue to which they are assigned.

By bringing a range of perspectives to the table and creating new alliances, NPLAN’s learning communities drive policy innovation and ensure all of NPLAN’s resource materials are practical and effective. Their model of collaborative engagement creates a foundation will advance the movement to prevent childhood obesity for years to come.
