Unfortunately, NPLAN does not have the resources to write a custom ordinance for individual communities.  But, NPLAN designs its model ordinances to make it easy for local policymakers and their attorneys to customize them.  Each model ordinance includes comments that explain different options a community has to customize the ordinance. Although attorneys drafted and reviewed these model ordinances, policymakers and local advocates must consult with their local government attorneys when adopting these models.
