NPLAN Presents Healthy Planning 101 Webinar on July 16
The National Policy & Legal Analysis Network to Prevent Childhood Obesity (NPLAN) presents a free webinar for communities interested in using land-use and zoning policy to prevent childhood obesity. Co-hosted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center to Prevent Childhood Obesity, the webinar will provide attendees with an introduction to land-use and zoning policy and healthy communities from Heather Wooten, policy associate with Public Health Law & Policy, based in Oakland, CA. Participants will hear from peers who are promoting healthy eating and active living through policy in their communities and will learn about practical resources for immediate action.
In conjunction with this webinar, we are conducting a brief survey to gauge our audience’s interest in and familiarity with planning and policy. We will use this information to tailor this and future webinars to your interests.
