NPLAN develops model policies that you can download from this website and use in your community. The NPLAN team is also available to answer your questions about developing and implementing policies to create healthier communities. For example, you may want to know about the legal issues that may arise if you try to implement a particular policy. Or you may want to know what the ideal Complete Streets policy looks like. You do not need to be an attorney to speak with us or to use our materials.

Let’s say you’re interested in bringing a farmers’ market to your community. Take a look at the farmers’ market policy resources on our website. If those resources don’t answer your questions or you need more information about how to use our model farmers’ market zoning language, then fill out our Ask a Question form. An NPLAN staff member will contact you within 48 hours to answer your question or schedule a phone call to discuss your question.
