The National Policy and Legal Analysis Network to Prevent Childhood Obesity (NPLAN) presented a short overview of its free legal technical assistance services for RWJF Childhood Obesity Prevention grantees via webinar. During the presentation, participants connected with NPLAN staff and learned how to access NPLAN's different services. RWJF has funded NPLAN to create model policies, factsheets, checklists and other tools for communities that are moving childhood obesity prevention policies forward.

This interactive presentation provided participants with concrete information about existing NPLAN policy tools related to menu labeling, joint use agreements and healthy vending as well as information about soon-to-be-released products on Complete Streets, farmers markets, and community gardens. In addition to discussing existing NPLAN products, NPLAN staff asked participants for input on the types of tools that they would like to see us develop in the future based on their communities' policy priorities.
